How do you use this platform?

Find all the answers to your questions about how this platform works, including useful tips.

What is a match?

On this platform we bring everyone who wants to do something together with everyone who needs something. It looks exactly like the other Marktplaats, but for voluntary commitment, help and volunteer work. If you find each other, we call it an online match.

How do you make an online match?

You can make an online match on this platform in various ways:

  • Reply to a question
  • Respond to an offer
  • Sign up for a challenge

If you respond to someone's question or offer, it is up to you how and when you will meet or get started. You can read tips on how to meet comfortably and safely for the first time here .

???? How do you pass on whether there is really a match?

Of course we hope that all online matches will also become real matches. But things like space in your agenda, personal click or distance ensure that not all online matches also lead to a 'real' match.

Will you help us let us know when you really have a match? As a result, we know what works and what doesn't, and we can help everyone better.

You can pass on a real match in 3 ways:

1. Via My Messages. To do this, go to 'My messages' and then click on 'Read'. At the top is the question 'Did this contact lead to a match?'

    • Click 'Yes' if you are going to meet or have agreed
    • Click on 'No' if this is not the case.

2. By email . If you have sent someone a message via the platform, you will also receive an email after a while asking if you have a match.

  • Click 'Yes' if you are going to meet or have agreed
  • Click 'No' if this is not the case.

3. By closing a question. When you close your posted question or volunteer vacancy, you can indicate whether you have found a match via the platform. Here you will find more explanation about how this works, if you can't figure it out.

Thank you for your help and have fun with your match
