Helpdesk, screening, monitoring & moderation

Through this platform you can easily get in touch with each other to mean something to each other or the world. To protect your safety and that of others, we actively screen, monitor & moderate compliance with our rules of conduct and general terms and conditions .

Our helpdesk colleagues are available from Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. They are there for you:

2. Screening

For your safety, we automatically screen all activities and content posted on the platform : all calls (supply and demand), profiles created (of people and organizations), messages, references and other content posted on the platform. This allows us to check for spam, viruses, phishing and other harmful activities, illegal or prohibited content or violations of our general terms and conditions or rules of conduct.

The screening takes place automatically with a specially developed 'screening tool'. This way, everyone's privacy is protected, but we keep it safe. There are two possible outcomes of the screening:

  • No violation detected. The screened activities and content are not retained.
  • Possible violation detected. The screened activities and content are temporarily stored for further investigation by our screening team.

The screening team reviews all possible violations. Here too there are two possible outcomes:

  • No violation detected. The screened activities and content are not retained.
  • Violation detected. The screening team takes appropriate action. Below you can read more about the possible actions we take.

3. Monitoring & moderation

We want to create an environment where everyone can be there for each other. Safety and reliability are therefore extremely important to us.

If we receive reports, instructions and/or complaints from other users, the screening detects a violation or for other reasons we believe that a particular user is not acting in accordance with the law and/or the general terms and conditions and/or the Privacy Statement and/ or our rules of conduct , we may – if we see reason to do so – take the measures below for security reasons and to protect our users. We may also take these measures if the platform is used in an unreasonable manner, for example if your participation and use hinders other users or disrupts the proper functioning of the platform:

  • We may exclude the respective user from the services of this platform

  • or (temporarily) limit certain functionalities for this user

  • or change or remove certain content

Consider, for example, a suspension of the account of the user in question, the removal of calls or reviews or the limited ability to post calls or responses.

The user(s) concerned will always be informed about this. When there is a partner platform , we always consult with our local partner about the action to be taken.
