A small gesture
Nobody wants to be alone at Christmas, do you? Make a small gesture with a big impact!
Everyone celebrates Christmas in a small circle this year. As a result, there will be more people alone during the holidays than in previous years. Those grandfathers, grandmothers, friends and acquaintances that you would normally receive also stay at home... We want to change that together with you by means of a small gesture.
A small gesture
The Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport has set up an action, namely a small gesture . A small gesture, you can also make that during Christmas. That's why we call on everyone to be with the people during Christmas that you can't see and hug because of the third lockdown. How do we do that? By calling someone in a traditional Dutch way.
How does it work?
Due to the measures, more people than usual are alone during Christmas. Days that you should celebrate together. Even though we can't be close to each other, we can still keep in touch during this period.
- Do you know someone who is alone at Christmas? Surprise this person. Send a card in the letterbox with the date and time that they should be by the phone, but don't let us know who the card belongs to yet, then it will remain a surprise!
- Do you know no one, but do you want to make some time with the people you celebrate Christmas with to call someone? Place a call using the button below to call on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or Boxing Day. Note: put the hashtag #eenkleingebaar in your description.
