In this time, with corona, there are various target groups, including the elderly and vulnerable people who are not having an easy time. People who work in healthcare, in supermarkets or with the police may also need extra help, so that their important work can continue. We collect all supply and demand in one place: asking for and offering help is free for social organizations and individuals. In this way we increase the chance that help will be found. Because that is necessary! Are you taking part too?
Ask for help
Asking for help for someone else
Sometimes due to your own circumstances you cannot visit family/acquaintances as often as you would like. You can place a request for help on behalf of your loved one and ask if someone wants to play chess online, write a letter / card or get the essential groceries. You know how best to help these people!
Do you need help yourself?
Do you have a small social network and your activities are canceled due to the measures taken and do you need a message or do you need a nice chat (by phone)? Post your request for help on this website , call us on 0348 421101 (on working days between 9 am and 12.30 pm) or send an email to: info@hartvoorwoerden.nl . If necessary, we will look together at what we can help you with.
We have collected all help providers on our platform and can therefore be found in an overview.
A listening ear with someone from the church
are you worried? Is fear taking over your common sense? Do you have questions like: 'Why is this happening?' 'How do I deal with this?' or do you have another question and don't know who to ask? The churches in Woerden have joined forces to be there for you. You can call 0348 215030 every working day between 12 noon and 6 pm. You can also send an email to: hetoorwoerden@gmail.com .

HELP ANOTHER
You hear and see the news and you want to help someone. But where do you start? What if you have a cold yourself and you can't leave the house? At Hart voor Woerden and NLvoorelkaar we believe that everyone has something to offer, even remotely. Think of calling elderly people who are currently not receiving visitors or who have a very small social network. Playing a digital game of chess with someone in quarantine. Or delivering the groceries to the neighbor.
You can place an offer yourself on the website or view the current questions below. You can also call us on 0348 421101 (between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.).
We were able to delight 16 elderly people with cheerful mail!
